Dozens of fire fighters aided by planes are trying to bring under control a fire that broke out on Sunday in the island of Skopelos.
The fire is burning pine forest near the picturesque village of Agnontas.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scenic island from the mainland town of Volos to help the effort, as there are fears that the blaze may spread overnight while the planes are grounded.
According to reports, there is no danger to the village or nearby hotels .
