Greek emergency services are searching for a group of migrants on Wednesday who are reported missing near the Evros River that marks the Greek-Turkish border.
Reports say that at least 15 people are in the group that tried to cross the swollen and fast-flowing river. Crews responded to a call to the European Union-wide emergency number 112.
Greek authorities have expressed concern over their fate as large parts of the region have been flooded in recent days.
The Evros crossing is dangerous, and a woman and two children drowned in the river last month.
Earlier in March, 18 migrants, including five children, were rescued when their van fell in a torrent.
