A hilarious incident was caught on camera on Monday as Greece’s alternate minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis was speaking live on the BBC about how Greece is opening up to tourism.
Varvitsiotis was explaining to the British audience that the opening of cafes and bars was another step Greece was taking on the road to normalcy.
As he was speaking, the camera was fixed on a cafe in Athens and caught the unfortunate moment when a waiter spilled coffee on a customer.
The poor man jumped out of his seat in surprise. The camera quickly cut off from the incident and immediately focused on the face of the Greek minister.
The hilarious, impromptu moment is making the rounds on social media, both in the UK and Greece.
