The Greek Ministry of Culture released a video of some of the most important archaeological sites as the country opens its ancient cultural heritage next Monday, May 18.
Beginning on that day, fortunate visitors will again be free to marvel at the wonders of the Acropolis, Delphi, Ancient Olympia and a host of other archaeological sites across the country.
Greece’s many museums are scheduled to reopen to the public on June 15, Culture and Sports Minister Lina Mendoni announced last week. A distance of two meters between all visitors and air-conditioning, using open circulation, will be required. The use of face masks and sanitizing hand gels is also recommended.
The number of visitors per hour in all museums will also be limited for an extra measure of safety.
