An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale hit near Athens on Wednesday morning.
The epicenter was 32 km east of the Greek capital near the seaside resorts of Nea Makri and Marathon.
Although moderate in strength the quake was felt in Athens. No damage has been reported.
